What's The Most Effective Way To Curtail Ugly Belly Fat?

Very often fitness professionals and nutrition experts were asked to advice what are the best forms of exercises and workouts for blasting stubborn belly fat, flatten tummy to bring out visible six pack abs.

The problem is, most people with excess tummy fat are looking to try to uncover their abs by searching for some "quick and miracle abdominal workout" hoping to burn the fat off their abs.
The truth is that you don't lose belly fat by doing ab workouts!

What you are looking to do is to try to flatten your abs and bring out abs muscles by concentrating your efforts on the right workouts that will reduce your body fat for good not just trying to get good looking abs!

If I am solicited to provide an answer as to what the best workouts are for losing belly fat, my advice would include full body workouts like: various forms of weight trainings such as swings, snatches, presses and pulls, mountain trekkings, sprinting, squats. In short, focusing on strenghtening muscle mass, instead of losing pounds!

These types of full body trainings would encompass a much higher percentage of the workouts instead of abs exercises directly targeting the midsection. The way you combine those full body exercises into a strategic workout that maximizes your metabolism is also very important.

It is remommended your time would be better spent focusing on the full body exercises. This way it stimulates the greatest hormonal and metabolic changes within the body. The benefits of full-body workout using multi-joint combo exercises are that you indirectly work your entire midsection even though you are not specifically targeting the abs.

Belly Fat - Expanding Waistline Spells Danger!

According to an UK medical journal studies, a person weighing 270 pounds at 5ft 9in may lose a decade of life, with a death risk equal to that of a lifelong smoker.

British scientists reviewed past studies of almost one million people in Europe and North America. The study found that carrying one-third more weight than doctors deem ideal raises a person's chance of dying early by 30%.

Researcher from the University of Oxford says the main way extra pounds turn deadly is by causing heart attacks and strokes, the world leading killers, along with increasing cancer risks. Added weight may be reponsible for a quarter of heart attacks and strokes in the UK and a third in the US, as well as 6% to 8% of cancer deaths. Obesity is the second most important cause of avoidable death in middle age. For people who are not smokers, overweight is the main cause of pre-mature death.

The UK study looked at the effect of increasing body-mass index (BMI), a common measure of body fat that compares a person's weight and height. The ideal BMI is between 22.5 and 25, or about 154 pounds for a man or woman 5ft 7in tall.

World wide efforts to develop obesity drugs have not been advancing but plagued by setbacks. Reports of increased psychiatric disorders have been the reason for not granting approval of obesity drugs.
